I had to put my boy Corky to sleep in the spring it was absolutely horrible. He was 18 and his body was just done. The vet gave me the option to have him cremated and I’m glad I did. I love that I have his little paw print and the tin the ashes came is was very nice. Thank you!

Losing a pet is awful. I was so blessed by Brett and Joel when I lost my first guy. Then again a year later when I lost two more within 20 days of each other. Then 4 years later the last puppy was gone. 15 years is a long time to love a critter. Each time I returned Brett greeted me by name and let me spend as much time as I needed with each of them. Very patient and kind and loving and respectful. If there is such a thing as having a wonderful experience losing a companion.....(Submitted on Facebook 3/15/19)

Our fur baby Preston crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday, very unexpectedly! My husband and I didn't get to meet with anyone from Vandemore, due to our vet office handling everything for us. I had to have my Miss Kitty put to sleep a few days ago. When I received her ashes in the adorable container and the certificate with her paw print, I was overcome with emotions. We lost our dearly beloved cockatiel, Sunny in early February. She was part of our lives for over 22 years bringing us so much joy and love. We sent an email to Vandermore on Sunday, the day she past, and Brett email us back the same day with answers to our questions. When we brought her in on Monday he greeted us at the door, extending his sympathy for our loss. He was very compassionate and helped make things very easy and smooth for us. My Soldier, a loyal friend and English Setter, was a true companion and family member. It was so reassuring, after his unexpected passing, to call on a weekend and receive such prompt care. Brett truly helped shed some light on an otherwise dim day. Having Soldier's remains home tonight, especially with the paw print, means so much to me. Joel & Brett Joe and I want to thank you so much for the services you provided for our beloved pet, Maxx. It was a pleasure meeting both of you and we immediately knew we made the right choice when we arrived at your facility. You made us both feel at ease with your compassion for our loss. It gave us great comfort knowing Maxx would be well taken care of. We also were so happy that we were able to pick up Maxx's ashes so quickly. It's comforting knowing he's back in his home and it definitely helped with our grieving process.

Brett, I had to let you know how much I appreciated your services yesterday. I talked with our vet clinic this afternoon and she was very impressed. She said that you were extremely professional. She also said that the manner in which you took charge of our pet was excellent. She said that you handled Grumpy's box like it was something to be treasured. For that alone, I thank you very much. For us, of all our cats, we have had four, Grumpy is the one that was the most special and meant the most to us. I am a firm believer in thank you notes, and while this is one of the most difficult for me, I wanted you to know how grateful and appreciative we are for your excellent services.

Thank you, Brett, for your kindness & understanding when we brought our dear Dusty in last week. We just picked up his ashes from Dr. Joy's clinic today. I have put pictures of him on 3 sides & the top. "He" is next to my side of the bed - where he always slept. I assumed the certificate of cremation would have a pre-printed paw print on it - I am very touched to see that it's Dusty's own paw print. Such a special touch. He was my shadow & I miss him so very much but thank you for making a sad time more bearable.

I want to thank you for taking such care with Puddles. The paw print on the certificate was so touching. That meant so much to me. Her accident and death was such a shock to us and I was unable to say goodbye to her and the paw print means more than you know.
